Investing in Nebraska

The Sherwood Foundation provides grants that help make Nebraska a better place to live, work, learn, and play.

Recipients of 2026 Renewable Operating Grants will be notified by August 16th.

Any other 2026 Operating Grant applications will be accepted by invitation only – notified of invitation by September 2nd with the application due by noon on September 30th.

Program and Capital Grant applications will be open next February 1-February 28, 2026
